M.21 is Makino Maria's eighth solo photobook. It was published on February 2, 2022 by Wani Books.[1] The Regular Edition and Amazon Limited Cover Edition contain a QR code to watch a short making of. A Wani Books Limited Edition was also available and came with a making of DVD.
On June 3, 2025, the eBook edition was released through Amazon Kindle, Rakuten, 7net, and Sony ReaderStore.[2]

- The photobook was released on Makino's 21st birthday. Wani promotes it as her 5th photobook in a row released on her birthday (Summer Days is not included because it was published by Odyssey Books).
- This is currently her best selling photobook, according to the Oricon weekly rankings.
